Watermelon Freezer Pops

watermelon freezer pops

I love watermelon. I mean... I really do love it! It is one of my favorite fruits!
I mean who doesn't have watermelon on every summer holiday. What would Memorial Day or the 4th of July be like without watermelon??  It would not be the same, that is for sure!
First, I wanted to share with you this idea on how to pick a good watermelon and how to cut it up from Fifteen Spatulas. It is awesome!

I also... love Popsicles on a hot summer day. They are so cool and refreshing. I found these adorable Popsicle holders 2 years ago and have been making freezer pops with them ever since. I love them!
These Watermelon Freezer Pops are one of my favorites! You are going to love this recipe. It is a good sweet combo.

Watermelon Freezer Pops
By Carrie Perrins
*Adapted from AllRecipes

2 1/2 Cups cubed seeded watermelon
1/2 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 cup white sugar

Place all ingredients into a blender and blend on high, until smooth. Pour the mixture into your molds and freeze for 2-4 hours or overnight. *If you don't have molds you could easily use paper cups. *To remove freezer pops,  run molds under hot water for 30-60 seconds to loosen pop from mold. Refreeze if necessary.

These watermelon freezer pops make such a cool and refreshing summer treat!
Enjoy!
