I love witches.
I don't know why... but they intrigue me.
When I came across these adorable witch hats from Michael's... I knew what I wanted to make.
A Mason Jar Witch.
I used a family recipe called sand art brownies to fill my mason jar, but instead of regular chocolate chips I used Halloween morsels. I love the added color!
To make the Mason Jar Witch you will need:
Mason Jar Witch Brownies
By Carrie Perrins - 1 quart mason jar
- 1 witches hat
- 1 piece of scrap fabric
- 1 12" piece of ribbon
- Brownie recipe (see below)
- glue gun/glue
- vellum paper
- spray adhesive
Fill the quart jar with the brownie mix from below. Seal the lid with the scrap piece of fabric. Next... glue on your piece of ribbon around the lid of the mason jar with a glue gun. Then... glue on your witches hat. After that has dried... print your free printable on vellum and attach to front of jar with spray adhesive.
You can also just attach it to the jar with ribbon as well. Witch ever you prefer, haha!

This makes a perfect gift for a friend, for a teacher, for a neighbor.
I really enjoyed making these Mason Jar Witches. They were bottled with care in 1692.
Enjoy!
You favorite witch-
Carrie
