Citric Acid Water

Here is another yummy addition to my cookbook under the beverages section. It never seems to amaze me that every time I visit with my sister-in-law she has something new to share with me. We had this very easy sweet "water" at a family event.

Here is the Recipe:
2 Tbsp. Citric Acid
5 QT water
2 cups sugar
2 Tsp. pure lemon extract-NOT the imiatation kind
3 sliced lemons
3 sliced limes
Crushed ice

Directions: Mix water, citric acid, sugar and lemon extract. Add sliced fruit and ice.
You can use different fruit. Lemons and raspberries are good. Whatever fruit you put in the acid pulls that flavor out.

I want to try the one with lemons and raspberries.
Enjoy!
