Summer Countdown Free Printable

The girls got home from school yesterday and I realized that their is only 14 days until school gets out! Yikes!! The girls have had a good school year, and I am excited to spend some time with them this summer.

My girls love countdowns. They love to rip off a piece everyday. It builds so much excitement for them. I am not ready for summer, but it will be here soon. Maybe by the time school is out I will be ready!  I put together this summer countdown for the girls. 14 days, I can't believe it!

Here is what you need to make your own:

Free Printable

Double-sided Tape

Yellow and Pink Card stock or Construction paper

Scissors

Step 1: Print off Free Printable.

To download this picture, just right click on image and SAVE to your computer and print.

Step 2: Cut out sun with scissors.
Step 3: Cut out 14 (how many days left)- 1 inch strips of yellow and pink card stock.
When putting together ...alternate every other color.
Step 4: Tape card stock strips together using double sided tape.
Step 5: Hang

This is in my kitchen, so my girls can rip one of every day until summer!

For us... only 14 days till summer vacation!

We will be swimming, hiking, playing, sleeping in, eating lots and lots of sno cones, watching movies, and probably more swimming. Actually now after writing this I am a little bit excited, but not quite ready.
