Grilled Lemon Chicken

Grilled Lemon Chicken...this grilled chicken is a tart, tangy, and moist, grilled chicken. I love the frozen lemonade concentrate marinade. It really makes the chicken! As I was typing this post my little daughter Bree says, ohhh I love that chicken. Can we have it again? I just smile... knowing that this recipe is a keeper. A real keeper, if an 8 year old liked it. Yea... we can definitely have it again!

Here is the recipe for Grilled Lemon Chicken:

Grilled Lemon Chicken
By Carrie Perrins
*Adapted from Taste of Home

4-6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thawed
1 can (6 ounces) frozen lemonade concentrate
1/3 cup soy sauce
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tsp. seasoned salt
1/2 tsp. celery salt
1/8 tsp garlic powder

mason jar

Directions:
In a mason jar combine the first six ingredients and shake well. Pour half into a shallow glass dish and set the remaining aside. Place the chicken breasts into the shallow glass dish and marinade for at least an half and hour.
Grill chicken on medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes depending on your grill. Continue basting and turning chicken several times. Just before taking off the grill brush with the reserved sauce. To make sure chicken is done... test with a meat thermometer. Meat is done when it reaches over 160. If you do not have a meat thermometer, just make a little cut into chicken to see if it is done.
Serve immediately.

I love grilling season. Sometimes... it is hard to find a good recipe. I don't look you have to look any further. This Grilled Lemon Chicken is really a go-to dish. I even had an extra piece leftover the next day for my lunch and it still tasted tangy and tart and moist.

Chicken will most likely be served on the 4 of July... why not add a little tangy kick to it... and grill it this way.

Grilled Lemon Chicken... is truly a part of an all American meal.
Carrie
