Milk and Cookies Baby Shower

For my friends baby shower, I decided to have a Milk & Cookies Bar. She is having a little girl. Hence... all the pink!

I got the idea off of Pinterest of course... but made it my own.

DECOR
For the decor.. I just hung 4 pink colored plastic table cloths. I was given the coffee filter wreath from my sweet sister-in-law for Christmas. It added the perfect touch.
I then made a cute milk and cookies banner with my Cricut. I simply cut out some circles and the word milk. I  glued the word milk onto a circle. Then for the cookies, I took black paint and made dots over two brown circles. I then hung it with jute twine and glue dots.

MILK
For the milk... I ordered these adorable milk cartons from The TomKat Studio. I filled them up with milk.  They were the hit of the party. Everybody loved them!

COOKIES

For the cookies I made these Almond Butter Sugar Cookies.  Then I kindly asked several of my friends to bring some cookies. They willing accepted and they brought several other good cookies as well. We had quite the variety. I really appreciated it!! I am thankful for friends who help out! I know that these type of events can get you stressed. So don't forget to ask for help. My friends pulled through for me... and I am sure yours will do the same!

CAKE
For the cake... I just bought it at a local grocery store. It was a frozen kind. And OH BOY was it good!
I simply cut a large C out with my Cricut and set it on the cake holding it up with a toothpick. It made the perfect centerpiece.
I really wanted to make the cake but ran out of time. I also someday want to take a cake decorating class. Someday!

I think the Milk and Cookies Bar was a success. I loved how it turned out!

If you noticed... I did use the word BOY amongst all this girly pink!
This was a fun baby shower to host!
