My One Little Word

When I started off this year, I was following a lot of blogs on Instagram and this idea came up to create one little word that can sum up what you want out of the new year- 2013! I pondered and pondered and came up with this word.
Capable

This word meant for me that I would be capable-having the ability or quality necessary to do or achieve a specified thing. I wanted to be able to be capable to endure whatever blessings or trials that God would give me. It took me awhile to come up with my one little word, but when I did, I knew it was what I needed this year! I set out to create something that would remind of this word.
A necklace.
I like to use things I have on had. A long time ago I went to Harbor Freight and bought this stamping set for around $10 dollars and had it in my craft box. I also at that same time had bought some washers to make some necklaces with. I set to work following this tutorial. Mind you I started this tutorial step by step, but I couldn't get the letters to stamp.  I started on a block of wood at my kitchen table. Didn't work!
Then I went back and reread her tutorial very closely and found that she had done it on CEMENT! I went outside right away and it worked!! Now the hard part, and the part that took the longest, getting the stamps to indent the right way. I went through I swear like 25-30 washers. Make sure you put the stamp the right way and add enough pressure to the stamp.
My ended up being exactly how I wanted. Not perfect, but who says creativity needs perfection. It was mine, and I had made it myself. I put it on a chain, and wear it almost everyday.
Then came another opportunity to have something remind me of my word.
A bracelet.
NO, not an ordinary bracelet an amazing leather bracelet. Farm Girl Paints makes them herself and sells them on Etsy. They are absolutely my favorite cuff I have ever bought. Check out her Etsy store.
I too wear this almost every day. I love it!!!
This word has come to mean so much to me already. I have seen it influence my life, and my choices.
What is your one little word?
