Here in Arizona it is supposed to be in the 80's this next week. WOW! This is why we live here, it is so beautiful!!!
I love this weather and LOVE to be outside. This is the perfect time to get our grillin on! I have to admit that my husband does the grilling in this family, and so I have never actually used a grill myself, but in our marriage that is OK. My husband is KING of the grill. He prefers to only grill this time of year because in July or August it is way too hot! We were in need of a grill and I wanted one this past weekend. I begged my husband to go get one late Saturday afternoon. He said I don't think we can do it. It would take forever to find one, then have to assemble it, etc. I said you can buy one already put together, hint hint!! He said it can't be done. The next thing I know he is out running errands and then pulls up in our driveway with this beauty!!!
A Kenmore Grill from Sears.
I said we have to grill tonight then! We called some friends over and we shared a wonderful evening of good food, fun, and laughter. Hamburgers and Hot Dogs were enjoyed by all.
I am excited to have a new grill and try some grilling recipes. Do you have a favorite recipe for the grill?
I have one for you Carrie! Grilled teriyaki pineapple chicken sandwiches. They're so yummy!
ReplyDeleteAll you have to do is marinate chicken breasts in teriyaki sauce for about 5+ hours. Grill the chicken breasts, when they're done melt swiss cheese on top. Then, grill pineapple rings (fresh or canned...fresh is better:) on the grill just until they turn a little brown. Place it all on a bun and enjoy. They're delicious!
I will try this recipe soon! Thanks for sharing!
