Bonanza Brownies
Monday nights is family night. We have a little lesson, a little family planning meeting where we go through our schedules together, a fun activity, and a treat. My girls love the treats! Usually... if I don't plan anything it ends up being ice cream. Tonight... I planned something. Bonanza Brownies. My husband actually really dislikes brownies. My girls and I love them! I got a box of this Jiffy® fudge brownie mix to try. As I was looking over the box, on the side panel was this recipe-Bonanza Brownies. It had marshmallows and chocolate chips in it. Win-Win in my book!
But if you know me... I substituted the chocolate chips for butterscotch chips.
I was very excited because this was a very simple recipe. We shall see how they turned out...
They turned out WONDERFUL!
Bonanza Brownies
By Carrie Perrins
1 pkg. Jiffy Fudge Brownie Mix
1 cup mini marshmallows
1/2 cup chocolate chips or whatever chips your prefer
2 eggs
1 Tbsp. water
2 Tbsp. oil
1/2 cup chopped walnuts-optional
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8" square pan.
Mix all ingredients well.
Spread batter in prepared pan.
Bake for 30 minutes. Cool and cut.
These Bonanza Brownies were so easy and very delicious! I loved the crunchiness of the chips and the mixture of the fudge brownies and marshmallows.
I can't wait for my family to eat these up tonight!
Go... make some for your family!
