So... I though it was only fitting I created you a copycat Peppermint Chocolate Chip Milkshake.
This too is pure deliciousness. In fact... I think I like this one better than the Peach Milkshake.
If you can't make it out to Chick-fil-A...I've got you covered.
This Chick-fil-A Copycat Peppermint Chocolate Chip Milkshake tastes just like the original.
Peppermint Good!
Chocolate Chip Good!
Milkshake Good!
Here is the copycat recipe:
Peppermint Chocolate Chip Milkshake
By Carrie Perrins- 1 cup vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup peppermint ice cream
- ¼ cup half and half
- ½ cup whole milk
- ⅛ tsp. peppermint extract
- peppermint candy canes-crushed
- milk chocolate chips-crushed
Directions:
1. Put the first 5 ingredients into a blender and blend on high for 1 minute.
2. Pour into a glass and top with Reddi Whip whipped topping and a cherry.
3. Once it is topped with the whipped topping, add some crushed peppermint candy canes and some milk chocolate chips. Mix in gently. *Be very careful with the crushed peppermint candy. You might not want to add it in... just serve a little one top. They can be very sharp.*
4. Serve immediately.
You can serve it with or without whip cream. I just crushed up some chocolate chips and tried it that way too.
Now... I know nothing can beat the original... but this one was very very good!
Hope you holidays are filled with candy canes and chocolate chips!
Carrie
