Almond Butter Sugar Cookies

These Almond Butter Sugar Cookies are my new favorite cookie!!  

In fact, sugar cookies have always been my favorite. I love sugar cookies!!

I made them for the baby shower... and absolutely fell in love with them. 

Aren't they the most beautiful round sugar cookie??

Almond Butter Sugar Cookies

1 cup butter, softened

1 ½ cups sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp. vanilla

1 tsp. almond extract

3 cups flour

2 tsp. baking powder

1 tsp. baking soda

½ tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray your cookie sheet with Pam cooking spray. 

Cream the butter and sugar together in a large mixing bowl for at least 2 minutes. 

Add your eggs, vanilla, and almond extract and mix for another 2 minutes. 

Add your the rest of the ingredients and mix until combined. 

With a cookie scoop, drop onto prepared pans, or roll into 1 ½ inch balls and place on cookie sheet. 

Bake at 350 degrees for 7 minutes. Remove from oven and leave on pan for another 2 minutes, then remove from pan to cookie rack. 

Let cool. 

Makes about 3 dozen. 

These would be perfect for a baby shower, for a Valentine's Day treat, or just because. 

 They are that good!
