DIY Snowman Peppermint Foot Soak

Hi Friends!

Happy Birthday!

This is what Frosty the Snowman said when he was magically brought to life.

Well... a close family member of mine is having a birthday...today! Happy Birthday!
For her birthday I made her this absolutely adorable Snowman!
I came across the recipe for this DIY Peppermint Foot Soak from The Gunny Sack and fell in love with it and have been making it for some birthday gifts.
Love... love... love it!

I first made the mint foot soak... and then wanted to make some peppermint foot soak.... but guess what????
I ran out of red food coloring.

That is OK... because this SNOWMAN magically came to life!!

I know you want to make your own... here is the recipe and free printables.

DIY Snowman Peppermint Foot Soak

By Carrie Perrins

  • glass jar
  • recipe for peppermint foot soak (see below)
  • red tulle
  • black and orange acrylic paint
  • disposable paint brush
  • free printable poem and instructions

Directions:
1. Clean your jar with soap and water.
2. Fill with a recipe of the peppermint foot soak.
3. With the end of disposable paint brush, dip it into the black paint and make a dot for the eyes and mouth. Let dry.
4. With the sponge part of the brush, dip it into the orange paint and make a carrot for the nose. Don't hold the entire brush down, hold it at an angle and lift quickly. (I practiced on a paper plate several times until I got the hang of it.)
5. Tie with red tulle.
6. Attach the poem and instructions.

** I doubled the recipe to fill the jar!

Here is the free printable... you can attach to it!
