Every time a child is born so is a mother.

For her baby shower, I asked my friend what her favorite quote was. She sent me this one.

I love how profound it is. I created this sign for the baby shower. I put it in a frame and displayed it for her on my mantel. Then I simply gave her the print when the shower was over. That way she can use it in her home if she desires.

Having a baby is a miracle. Being a mother to the baby is also another miracle. Motherhood is not for the weak. It requires patience, love, endurance, strength, and humor. Sometimes after everything... you feel like just crying or laughing. You can only do so much... but nothing is as powerful as a mother's love. I love being a mother. I couldn't imagine my life without my sweet little girls.

Today my mothering consisted of several dirty diapers, cleaning up messes of hand sanitizer squirted all over the place, a constant runny nose and that was only one child.
Three other girls are at a different stages where they require my full attention. That is really hard to give sometimes... but I always try and listen. They have some pretty funny stories.

4 out of the 5 best days of my life... were the days my sweet little girls were born.
